It’s so important to know that anyone can have a spiritual practice.  It might look different from one person to another due to religious beliefs, cultural background, or life situations, but we can all adopt a spiritual practice – or at least take the time to consider the unknowns of the Universe.

I encourage you to open your mind and find something here that potentially sparks a light to pull you closer to all that the world inside and around you has to offer.

I’m a student at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and I love blogging about what I’m learning: from bio-individuality to breathwork!

Lauryn’s Lifestyle was the result of me wanting to share my journey to a holistic lifestyle after years of having a turbulent relationship with food and exercise.  Learning to listen to your body and take control of your own health is one of the most empowering and important things you can do for yourself.  I can only hope to help you feel the same!

We are slowly but surely entering an age where being in tune with our bodies is reaching a whole new depth and potential.

I want to use this blog as a resource to show just how accessible and useful holistic practices can be!  But I also want to highlight an important thing when it comes to ‘alternative medicine’.

Alternative medicine is not a replacement for a doctor and modern healthcare.  The idea is that the use of practices such as meditation, aromatherapy, acupuncture, acupressure, and others will help prevent you from needing modern medicine as much.

So, while I may talk about practices involving thought, energy, and movement, I am by no means telling you to skip the doctor. 

Keep an open mind, try incorporating some of these methods into your routine, and see how your quality of life improves!
